Choice of holiday accommodation in Southern Snowdonia amid some of the best hillwalking in Wales

THE MEWS HOLIDAY COTTAGE

Sleeps 2-3, 1 bedroom

The living room with Welsh Dresser, 3-piece suite, colour television and choice of electric or open log fire as well as its two night storage heaters is plenty big enough for the 2'6" folding bed to be permanently out in one corner if the bedroom's double bed is not sufficient.

All ground floor, and all electric, the Mews is a convenient and easy cottage to stay in. The bathroom with twin-grip cast-iron bath, electric shower and matching suite is fully tiled. The floors in the living room and bedroom are warm cork. The rooms are light with living room and bedroom spanning the full width of the cottage and therefore windowed on both sides.
This is a zoom-in view from the living room over the cottage's walled garden. Birds love all the shrubs and trees around the open spaces, and the cottage has been described by one of our guests as a 'birdhide' in itself. Even a goshawk has been spotted from it.
The fitted kitchen has a NEFF oven and hob, and you can step out of it into the walled and surprisingly spacious garden. Its views are similar to those enjoyed from the living room with the hill Moel Offrwm exactly framed in its doorway.
Looking up into the woodland from one of the bedroom's two windows. The window on the other side of the room looks into the garden and across to Y Garn mountain whose lower slopes were mined for gold and to whose summit one of Brynygwin's many walksheets leads starting from the cottage doorstep.
